Hooker Twp,Ne | Not 100% sure. Some talk. I know it started in a field by following the burn line to point of start. Makes a guy wonder how much liability ins is enough. It will end up being one ins company fighting another. As a young kid and my first years farming,we never worried about large fires at harvest time. However about 3-4 years ago we had one southeast of me and now this one. Makes me wonder about our ancestors when they moved here and had praire fires survived. We need a nice slow inch of rain and some dewy,foggy morning to get this fire scare out. | |
