Hooker Twp,Ne | Yesterday was one of those stressful days. Fire started approximately 2 miles west and half south of me. By the time it got thru the first section it was 3/4 mile wide. By that time there was fire department and some tractors and disc working on it. From there it move into section north and started into section I live in. So thankful for the guys that came with their tractors and disc and the volunteer rural fire departments. This morning at 5 am a tanker truck with water went by to make sure all was ok. Most all pasture fence are down. Fire burnt off the hedge post and corner post. For those who ever wonder about bagging corn and fire you’ll see a pic below. NPPD was out most of night replacing electric line poles. One pic with two burnt down building. They use to be a barn and Machine shed.
