Seneca Kansas 66538 | Yes, praises to all the volunteers that were out there fighting it. When you see fire blazing through a standing cornfield with 30 mph gusts of wind and volunteers are out there trying to slow it down it…well the whole thing becomes emotional and then the spray planes flying in dropping water on it, amazing people just amazing. We thought about harvesting also but I was on top of bins closing lids (could hardly hold on to them up there) and I said nope ain’t gonna do it just no way. I’ve seen a fire go 4 miles before it’s scarey stuff to see. There were 2 ambulances on the scene, im not sure if anyone was injured or not.
