We have always put names and dates in concrete. My dad did it with all 8 of us kids and I did it with mine. The oldest I have is a slab poured in on oct. 7th 1927 with my grandpas initials and my dad two of my uncles and their hired man at the time. I had hogs on it until a few yrs ago and now have sheep on it.
