Have at least 30 of these installed where the ditch is too shallow water goes in sometimes 4’ lower than the exit
Have not seen silting in— some been installed over 10 years

Add a "rule" outlet should be 2' lower than lowest part of field --
old disc blade "bigger than 18" "makes a good lid
