Nebraska | My experience is that if you want a dog to send cattle through a fence, then about any heeler would love to help you accomplish that. Now helping rebuild the fence afterwards and gather the cattle productively, you probably get to do that on your own!
Border collies and Hangin Tree cowdogs are better gatherers, heelers tend to be drive or scatter dogs from what I’ve seen. But I am far from a dog expert. | |
