Subject: Response for post about installing tile using a force outlet from a few days ago

In the past few days a poster asked about installing a tile system below the outlet with intentions of putting in a deeper outlet in the future. Today I completed a new tile main to take an outlet at grade that had been a force outlet for at least 30 years. Tile had 26 inches of water on top of it at no flow levels due to a meandering creek that has filled in several feet where this tile used to outlet. When I opened the tile up to hook it to it’s new outlet there was no dirt in it! I was surprised since this is a ten inch tile that ran its last 1000 ft at a tenth or two. Maybe it’s a here thing but no silting in at all. Clay loam topsoil with mostly clay subsoil.
