Fontanelle, IA | Draxxin is molasses in January to treat pneumonia. It is preventative (from reading NAT) on Respiratory to basically a foot rot drug anymore. Anything in the high power antibiotics would be better than draxxin
Heat stress and sun stress/no shade is hell on fall calves. Get them on grass or even dried up sod grass as quick as you can. If you’ve calved in that same lot for multiple years consecutively, then your bugs are probably built up resistance to draxxin as well.
