Nothing was hurried past. Hearings and lawsuits were brought incessantly. But nothing came about from them.
It’s should be telling as to the veracity of the cases as to whom was willing to be brought on as council. High profile lawyers would be tripping over themselves to be involved in something like this if there was merit. But they didn’t. The lawyers included second rate, back benchers, little experienced and hits plain nut jobs who told their client want he wanted to hear instead of what he needed to. That data point is more telling than any political slant one want to have.
