Used 2023 came with AFS RTK+ active for about 2 weeks, and FWIW, this plan has cell roaming. For $270.00/year, I had the dealer turn-on a Case NTRIP plan, which here is a VZW only plan, no roaming. Tractor needs to be running or key-switch turned-on for activation.
Within the cellular menu, there is a switch for using say your cellphone, but nothing happens when I flip the switch. When NTRIP subscription ends next year, I'll see if a cellphone/iPad can be used.
FWIW, when AFS RTK+ was active, two different wireless providers were used, VZW & NexTech, and which ever carrier had the strongest signal, it would be tuned in. There are a few deadspots for VZW here at ground level, but with cell antenna on the roof, we had no drop-outs so far. So, either CASE has a decent external antenna on the roof, or being on the roof made a difference,
