When we finished bagging corn silage we walked around in the left over silage and it bleached the color out of are blue jeans has anyone ever had that happen before? I have never had this happen.


Well - - - if you're getting quick fermentation you should be getting lots of acetic acid (iirc) and acetic acid and vinegar are more than somewhat related and as even a dilute acid it would bleach colors that aren't that 'fast' (term used in the clothing industry meaning bonding with the fabric - - - the dye that is).
