Very few of you lived as many years as I have and when times get hard and the government threatens to not sign a farm bill the older farmer point out that if it isn’t signed we revert back to the first 1933 farm bill. The good part is is forces the government to pay parity prices compared to 1933. Look up the bill. This country’s cheap food policy would be settled instantaneously.
What were the dirty thirties like? Were the roaring 20’s pretty fly? Could you go barefoot to a sock hop?
Thanks in advance. |
