Maybe that's the case but it wasn't from me as we never used fungicide until it showed up. Now the only protection is to spray for it and maybe a little variety selection but that's not a slam dunk yet. 1 year was enough to make sure it never happens again. The way tarspot works is if you see it, it's too late so basically forced to spray every year.
