Confirmation for us, catholic, was two years once a week during most of the school year. Just don't do what our current priest is doing and pick a time that don't make any sense while not even letting parents choose the class times that has stood for 50years. Confirmations time have changed in the past but he has decided to change to a Wed night from Sunday morning, don't know if there will be a class left, have heard several complaints and conflicts. Same problem with abrupt time change for younger kids that lead us to take classes at an other church.
Our church, also Catholic, has changed CCD classes between Sunday mornings and Wednesday evenings over the years with changes in priests. Seems there are parents complaining no matter when it is. However, those who complained about having to take the kids to CCD on Wednesday nights never seem to have a problem getting the same kids to sports related events held at the school, three blocks away.
