I remember H1N1 'swine flu' pandemic that had a lot of cases in August.  Our county had all the State Fair chaperones backout for fear of catching it at the fair and almost made it so no animals went from out county.  A couple of us stepped up and said if the kids want to go we will take the risk too and chaperone them; no one got sick.
