I have no doubt sugar is addictive. Since the docs started telling me I'm "pre-diabetic", I try to keep away from sugar as much as possible, and it's hard, the damn stuff is everywhere! Since I've mostly kicked it something really sweet makes me feel "off', as the OP said...a 12 oz. coke & a couple of glaze donuts like I used to have at break time in machine shop class would probably make me puke now...
