I keep hearing that insurance companies are hurting - our rates are up 20 to 40 percent just like everybody else.
Aflac stock is up 40% YTD, net income 1.76B up 7.4%
Allstate stock up 42% YTD, net income 330M up 125%
Progressive stock up 54% YTD, net income 1.46B up 322%
I don't believe the 'insurance companies are hurting' line any longer.
