For quick and easy unpack and go the mini3 and controller with built in screen takes some beating.
Slightly more affected by winds it would be risky above 25mph.
I find it useful if say one is calving in a quiet spot and you want to check progress without disturbing her or having others follow you to the hideaway..
At very least you can see if she had it or not without getting too low - it is relatively quiet anyway.
