You don't understand the legislation even at the basic level. They are singling out a single manufacturer, which in itself is extremely unusual. There is also OTHER legislation, which you haven't even mentioned that addresses all chinese made components.

TBH, your time is probably better spent converting your 1950s IH to run on woodgas, it is more likely closer to your wheelhouse of knowledge. Just don't use a FEMA gasifier. :)
