We run our 1590 at 1,000 psi (orange zone) in no till and plant on 15 in rows. If you think your transport tires are compacting the rows too much, you would actually want to increase down pressure on the row units, which would decrease pressure on the transport tires and might eliminate that problem. Have to make sure you don’t do it too much or the transport wheels won’t get good ground contact which is how your population is driven

In tilled ground, you may not be able to avoid that compaction much do to the weight of a full drill. Just my opinion. Hope that helps

Edit to add: we also have a full set of suitcase weights on our drill. It’s a 15ft
