Subject: Fall Pairs on Cornstalks

I am familiar with spring calving cows on cornstalks over winter.

Does anyone have experience with fall pairs on stalks over winter? How do they do? What & how much do you supplement? Are cover crops after wheat/canola a better option for fall calvers in the winter?

Interested to hear experiences. Considering changing my calving season to better utilize small pastures and my bulls breeding all while at home for the winter vs spread out on small pastures in the summer.

Thanks.
