e are raising the bar.... Literally. Our kit puts off enough down pressure to lift the carrying wheels off the ground
(one of the videos in link below
). We understand this amount of down force is not needed. The point is this system is capable of getting your seed to proper depth in the toughest of notill conditions. We know it is a hassle to change the OEM spring settings for every row; which leads to you adjusting it to the highest setting and never touching it again. Now you can adjust all of the rows at the twist of a knob. We grasp the fact that it can feel defeating when you can't get seed consistently to the proper depth to help ensure even emergence. You do not need to buy a new planter. Why would you when everything else works great on your current model.
For a fraction of the cost of a new planter, you can have this bolt-on kit
(no welding, drilling, or torching
) to put air springs on 800, 900, 950 and 955 Case IH cyclo planters. This kit is capable of 525 pounds of downforce at 100 psi.
You will also find out that by getting your row unit to the proper depth, that additional accessories are not as necessary. With a good sharp disc opener you will be able to cut through the stover. A wavy coulter is not needed, and even row cleaners are not installed on many of our customers planters. Another surprise will be the closing system. The increased depth puts added pressure on the closing system allowing it to function at a higher level. In the end you can save quite a bit of money avoiding other accessories.
